I remember...I would totally buy that book Kristy!! I remember the pre-baby delusional plan of how I would be the most put together mom ever. Then Emily came. I soon realized that wearing a shirt with spit-up, no make-up and my hair almost in a whole pony tail to the store was an accomplishment and not the embarassment I would have previously thought it to be. My children have taught me far more than I have taught them. For instance, dry erase marker will remove permanent marker from surfaces (like the brand new big screen tv), and nail polish remover will help wash stubborn permanent marker off of skin. They also helped me learn just how funny life really is. There are no days without laughter of some kind, and I am so thankful for that. All that to say, keep up the good work!!! It's our job to make sure that they grow up into some semblance of decent human beings, not to be perfect.
